How to reset my TL-WR1043ND router

Post by Elecmuso »

I seem to have made a stuff up when trying this:
https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/do ... e_repeater
Now I can't access the router on 192.168.1.1 as I used to be able. Can someone help me get back to that point?!
It is a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND.
Have tried holding the reset button on back of unit down for 10 seconds but that has not worked.
Not sure where to start.

If you only want to reset to the default configuration (forgotten password, wrong configuration, ...), just go to "Failsafe Mode" and delete the entire configuration, first try "Soft Factory Reset" and if it does not help "Hard Factory Reset" .

P.S. Newer versions are accessed via ssh, not via telnet.
