Hi, does anyone know if the procedure to revert to stock firmware with V2 also applies for 2.1?
Seen here: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=revert
redirects you here where only v1 and v2 are available.

I assume v2 is good for 2.x but unsure and want to confirm to avoid bricking my router.
thanks in advance.

Re: Revert WR1043ND v2.1 to stock firmware
Hi ispyisail, I was looking on the wiki but apparently there's no info about revert to stock. also checked on the forum and they mention some options but most of them point to an FTP that is still valid but not open anymore, requires user and password. Also, many processes are for bricked routers and require dismantling the RT and soldering which is not my case as I still can access over web interface.
Any help to find the right procedure and file to get back to stock using web interface will be greatly appreciated.

This is my understanding also"I assume v2 is good for 2.x but unsure and want to confirm to avoid bricking my router."
I don't know the answer to the best re-flashing procedure
Find what you think is the best procedure (via google) then cross your fingers.
or stick with openwrt/gargoyle
