Was about to install gargoyle on my archer C7 V2... and saw this warning:
"WARNING 1: Current firmware (1.9.0 and earlier) has been reported to brick recent models of Archer C7 v2 (Early 2016 and later) "
I am confused.. "Current" firmware would include 1.10.x yes?
Is this warning outdated now and the *CURRENT* versiion 1.10.x works without bricking my device?
thanks in advance for any insight!

Maybe
The warning is out of date but depending on your router firmware there could still be problems.
Its a cat and mouse game with the manufacture

Hi as far as I know the warning is outdated. The code to work with the new flash chip is in the updated OpenWRT that was bumped in the 1.10 build.
