It would be beneficial to have the Used Quota information persist over Resets
This could be achieved by allowing the user to turn on a "Usage Backup" feature and specify the backup interval. ie 10min / 5min etc
every interval the router saves a copy of the usage information to a file either on a usb device or to the routers firmware (same way settings are saved)
on reboot usage information should be restored from the file last saved before power outage.
said file only needs to contain the total bytes used by each device on the network for upload, download, and both. as such the file should be relatively small and capable of being stored in the firmware (please correct me if i'm wrong)
Backup and Restore of Usage Data over Reset

Re: Backup and Restore of Usage Data over Reset
This would likely add a lot of wear to the flash chip. It should be possible to do it on a USB stick or a network drive.
