could use some help please!

hi everyone , i could do with a little help and advise please .due to my two sons hammering the bandwidth i bought a vigor120 and a wndr3700 and installed gargoyle 1.71 i have managed to get all the machines phones etc connected to the internet by using pppoe wired with my user name and password for my adsl provider, i have a static igoyle p address from my service provider but i do not know where to insert this in gargoyle ? or how to assign it to my two sons machines to slow down there downloading a bit.can you give me any instructions advise as this is my first time using gargoyle and i am a little bit confused .many thanks .cyclone

you shouldn't have to set your adsl static ip, this is usually handled on the ISP side.

You'll need to use QoS rules for slowing down your children.

Then try to come up with your own idea for how to set it up. Then come back with further questions.
As a hint, you can accomplish this with 2 classes, and 2 rules.

thanks for your quick reply .i am new to gargoyle and i am still reading and trying to get my head round it , 2 kids 6 devices between them means slowwwwwwwwwwww internet most of the time hopefully i will manage it in the next couple of days .thank you for your help.
