Cant login to router in bridge mode

Post by fpizano »

I have a Netgear WNDR3700 R2 set it up for bridge mode and it works great I am able to connect and access the internet off of it with no issues. Now my problem is I can't access the router at all.

Main Router is 192.168.11.1
Cisco bridge 192.168.11.2
Gargoyle bridge 192.168.11.3

Again the router is broadcasting its signal fine and it works just cant access it at all via IP. I can access the first 2 routers fine from it. Reason this is an issue is what if I want to use it for something else I cant access it to shut it off. I used a network scanner and it scanned all the routers, printer and pc's fine. It didn't see the gargoyle router though either. Confused?????

When you say "it can access the first two routers fine", what is IT?

If both bridges are on the same subnet as the Primary Router, then you should be able to ping ALL of the 3 from ANY client.

You said you verified devices connected to your 2nd gargoyle bridge are on the internet. This is good. By any chance did you use your own subnet for the 2nd bridge? If not, then make sure DHCP server is off on the 2nd bridge. Then try.
