Re: Dnscrypt-proxy
I experimented a little bit by adding Dnscrypt-proxy in my WDR4900-build. I can get it to run, but I noticed that the Gargoyle web-frontend is interfering with the setup of Dnscrypt-proxy. The settings from standard guides doesn't work for Gargoyle. This can only work by integrating the Dnscrypt-pro...

WDR4900 V1 - graphs don't work
Hi all, I've started building Gargoyle images for my WDR4900 V1. I noticed that the graphs for Bandwith Usage and so on, don't work. A reboot doesn't fix this, as was already suggested. Errors I see in the log are: Thu Feb 12 19:27:26 2015 kern.warn kernel: [ 3482.264384] _exception: 2 callbacks sup...

Re: Dnscrypt-proxy
I would like it to be included in the packages so that it can be used not only for ar71xx-type routers.

Re: Version 1.7.0 - Barrier Breaker Bugs
Lantis, thanks for your suggestion!
Tried it, but it doesn't work, graphs don't show any trace, and I keep getting the errors as show before in the log when I select a page showing a graph.
Probably some ar71xx kernel patches need to be applied to the mpc85xx kernel while building. Will look into it.

Dnscrypt-proxy
Please add the package Dnscrypt-proxy to Gargoyle.
Adds a little more security: encrypts DNS traffic. For more info, please see: https://www.opendns.com/about/innovations/dnscrypt/

Re: Version 1.7.0 - Barrier Breaker Bugs
Bugreport on my 1.7.x build on WDR 4900 V1: No graphs are shown: - Bandwidth usage - Bandwidth distribution - QoS distribution (QoS is enabled) Connected host page - Host with active connections: table is going outside the frame border on the Gargoyle theme. For the Dark theme it's OK. And I'm seein...

Re: Q: Gargoyle build for WDR4900 possible?
Update 4: got it (wifi) to work!
The problem was WPA enterprise didn't work, turns out I built the image with wpad-mini instead of wpad. Will be fixed in a next build. WPA/WPA2 PSK is being used for now.
For download link see the Show/Tell/Contribute part of the forum...

Re: Q: Gargoyle build for WDR4900 possible?
Update 3: Success! Finally the build process ended without errors.
I flashed my WDR4900, login page came up OK.
Changed the settings for wireless, but unfortunately wifi doesn't come up.
Will troubleshoot later...

Re: Q: Gargoyle build for WDR4900 possible?
Previous comments removed. Restarted build. Update 1: failed twice at downloading gmp-6.0.0a.tar.xz Downloaded the file manually to the Downloaded directory and (re)started by "make custom" after "make clean". Update 2: failed again: "MD5 sum of the downloaded file does not ...
