Re: Add GUI for VLAN configurations
I've encountered a small problem... If the WAN is offline, due to it requiring VLAN10, it makes it rather difficult for me to put this ipkg file in a repository somewhere. Is there anybody who's familiar with the Gargoyle WebGUI who could help me with creating a page for enabling / disabling this fu...

Re: Add GUI for VLAN configurations
Well blow me down, it seems to work! :D I've been lazy and accounted for the following WAN situations: Static IP (Wired) DHCP (Wired) PPPoE (Wired) Otherwise so far it seems to be working good and I just need to package this up and get somebody, like say psycik, to test it. I've got limited access t...

Re: Add GUI for VLAN configurations
Quick update here: 1) The stuff posted by ericwong definitely works, I've tested it and it's 100% solid for putting the routers WAN on to VLAN10. 2) Works with DHCP and PPPoE on VLAN10, not a problem :) Presuming psycik wants VLAN10 for UFB in New Zealand. It's all good! Try this: root@Gargoyle:~# c...

Re: Will gargoyle work on any OpenWRT supported hardware?
Just because it has OpenWRT support doesn't mean it'll _definitely_ work with Gargoyle due to the way Gargoyle acts as an interface for only _some_ parts of OpenWRT (For example VLAN support is there, but making changes in Gargoyle will overwrite any config file changes).

Re: Add GUI for VLAN configurations
Yeah my theory is if that script is called *after* the networking changes are made to the network conf, I could custom modify it so that at the _start_ of that script being run, it checks the network conf file and modifies the WAN adding VLAN10 to it. If this were a Plugin, control of VLAN10 could b...

Re: limited to 250mbit download with gargoyle branded router
It'd likely work at those speeds as a Wireless -> LAN bridge, but as the others have mentiond because it's passing through NAT, that's where the slowdown occurs.
