On my side the plugin does install and shows up on the left menu, I just haven't got around to test it yet. But like you I am unable to uninstall it.
I'm running the standard 1.7.0 build from the Download page.

Re: the annoying 'too many redirects'
Activating private browsing mode also fixes this. Had a chance to test it today and works a treat. Cheers. *Update*: The inherent disadvantage of running in privacy mode is that it won't allow you to Edit the settings under Currently Shared Disks as you''ll get kicked back to the Login screen. This...

Thank you, I'll be sure to give that a try.Lantis wrote:Activating private browsing mode also fixes this.
It doesn't happen all the time, it just comes and goes when you least expect it. I have no idea what triggers it, can't really find a pattern.

Re: the annoying 'too many redirects'
Running 1.7.0 on a DIR-505. Getting the "too many redirections" issue under Safari 8.0.3.
Using Gargoyle's default theme. Changing between http and https makes no difference. The "Show Web Inspector" trick is the only way to get it working.
No problems under Chrome 40.x.

Re: Version 1.7.0 - Barrier Breaker
http://i.imgur.com/voY5E5Z.png Flashed my DIR-505 with 1.7.0. The experience so far has been very smooth. - Gargoyle A1 firmware works just fine with my DIR-505E A2 . - Throughput is on par with stock firmware. - Wireless range is on par with stock firmware. - USB port works as expected. - Flashing...

Re: DIR-505 A2, flash A1 build ok?
So the DIR-505 is here and it's happily running 1.7.0. http://i.imgur.com/voY5E5Z.png Answering my own questions: 1- The A1 build (gargoyle_1.7.0-ar71xx-generic-dir-505-a1-squashfs-factory.bin) will work just fine with the DIR-505 A2. 2- Flashing straight from D-Link's firmware works perfectly. Determine firmware version without logging in, possible?
Is it possible to determine the firmware version without actually logging in?
This is possible under DD-WRT, i was wondering how can it be done on a Gargoyle-powered device.
