Re: the annoying 'too many redirects'

@StopSpazzing http://bit.ly/1qjhFAg I've never encountered this error on my Mac (Safari, Opera, or Firefox) or Safari on iPhone. My router is running 1.6.1. that's weird, maybe it's happening on some routers ? little search will show some replies talking about the same issue with 1.6.x and safari, ...

Re: Cannot reset to default settings

One thing you didn't mention was if you redownloaded the 1.6.1 firmware and verified its checksum, or if you just "re-uploaded the Gargoyle Firmware" because if you downloaded the file that wasnt exact match to original you could get all sorts of issues. My guess is you just reuploaded the...

Re: Wifi scheduling problem WR1043ND with 1.6.1

I would check logs for anything fishy. Glad it's working again however.

Re: Wifi scheduling problem WR1043ND with 1.6.1

anything specific change in the last 3 days? did you change any settings or just recently upgrade to 1.6.1? Personally, I would download my router settings, redownload 1.6.1 verify checksum then reflash followed by the required 30/30/30 reset, once back up you can try restoring your settings to see ...

Re: Cannot reset to default settings

Try a 30/30/30 reset. Google it if you don't know what this is as you should have done this after before and after flashing to gargoyle. factory reset just restores default settings on most routers. If there corrupted memory in nvram this will not fix the issue. Instead of manually editing files, ne...

Re: The Built in Memory

First off this is not a bug. So not sure why you posted this in the bug section. Theoretically this is true, however, most routers will be upgraded before this happens because how fast technology moves forward. You could change my mounting log locating into ram of the device, however if the logs got...

Re: the annoying 'too many redirects'

Hi, if you're Mac/iOS user && use Safari && your Gargoyle is 1.6.X: you'll suffer from random error 'too many redirects accrued trying to open 192.168.1.1' using 'https' won't help, as a Mac user who uses safari, this is annoying, if someone found a way around this error please shar...

Re: cannot access web interface with nexus 7 (gg 1.6.1)

So you CAN access it however it wont let you log in, this is different than cant access the web interface, as login is part of it. Login works just fine on my Nexus 7. Have you tried clearing your cookies/cache, or maybe doing a soft reset? Make sure yours is up to date first, then if none of that w...

Re: OpenVPN Client mode Error: Could not find config file

I have seen this error come up if the zip file contains a .ovpn file. Rename the extension to .conf in the zip and try to reload it. That is the FIRST thing I tried. This is a bug. Still present on current version 1.6.1. I have yet to be able to get around it, however when I get a chance, I will tr...
