Faster Compiling with OpenWRT Image Builder?

So one thing I've noticed, is that takes way too long to build Gargoyle from scratch, so tested OpenWRT's image builder/generator, and its incredibly fast to generate images since doesn't need to compile everything related to OpenWRT. My question is: Would it be possible to modify Make to use the Op...

Re: Compiling under Windows

Under Windows 10 we may soon be able to compile gargoyle without a VM :) http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2016/03/why-bringing-bash-shell-to-windows-is-important-for-microsoft-and-developers/ I'm going to test this later today, since I'm a windows insider. Maybe it will work without too much issue... :...

Re: [Gargoyle UI/UX] Requesting upgrade from dark ages

Will plugins need modification for this new system? I did some bodgycss manipulation in one if my plugins. Nope, literally drop in and works. All .sh pages get surrounded in row, then a 12 column div, will force the content to be responsive. Tested it with your adblock plugin without modifications:...

Re: [Gargoyle UI/UX] Requesting upgrade from dark ages

Shrunk size of files I included to ~74KB. The difference between before and after the changes is extremely small. Reworked the code again, too much junk, needed to be clean. Currently only 2 new files in theme folder: bootstrap.min.css, and theme.css. I removed jquery dependencies and that shrunk ev...

Re: [Small enhancement]import requeste

Well first idea would be to allow users to select specific configurations to save, say I only want my wifi settings and my static ip giving to my dhcp devices, should be check boxes to select only those. Then, when you go to import, or when you "attempt to preserve settings", it lets you k...

Re: Is Entware compatible with Gargoyle?

So funny this was brought back up recently... my NAS had an updated to custom mod running on it to give it Entware support to replace optware. Anywho, I installed this already on my router in temp folder, lol and lists all packages, yet to try installing anything yet. I used MIPS compatible build: h...

Re: Building a single Gargoyle package

Played with it some more, got farther not complete.

If OpenWrt has a way to build specific packages, why doesn't Gargoyle? Kinda confused why this isn't already built in?
