Re: Usage reset to 0% after modifying/saving existing qoutas
It is possible, this feature was actually submitted by a user but unfortunately it is now really out of date and cannot be used. It must be reimplemented from scratch.
There is a shortage of time and people willing to contribute such a thing.
It is on my list, but so are a lot of things

Re: Quota Allocation
Yes that can happen.
The solution is to use the Enforce DHCP Allocation function.
Be aware that unless you’re running the most recent versions there were some bugs with that function.

Re: QoS for a single website only?
With Gargoyle QoS that won’t be simple. There are lists available of every YouTube IP and they are in the tens of thousands, and they change frequently. You would need to customise Gargoyle to support ipsets and then script an automatic update of those ipsets. Thinking about this a different way, ma...

The usteer package is installed by default on most profiles, others will need to install it. There is no GUI configuration for usteer except for being able to turn it on and off to help send AP client information between multiple Gargoyle routers on the same network (in a multi-AP setup for example...

Re: QoS for a single website only?
That’s not really how QoS works, and enabling it for a website involves knowing the IP address of it which may be dynamic or part of a content distribution network making it not possible or impractical. Maybe taking a step back, why do you want to do this? What are your goals? There might be a bette...

Re: Gargoyle 1.15.x BETA - 2024-03-11 - Based on OpenWrt 23.05
Just installed it on my spare Archer C7 V2. Seems to be running just fine without further configuration. Wifi untested. Where to point the plugin source? Default is http://www.gargoyle-router.com/packages/gargoyle-1.16/ath79/default which doesn't seem to be populated yet. In the same folder as you ...

Just watch out for and pay attention to any warnings during upgrade.
From certain versions you specifically can’t keep the settings due to DSA conversion.
The GUI should warn you, but the command line is very specific about it if you prefer.
