You need it on the modem to make this routing script work correctly.
It won't affect the DHCP of the gargoyle, they are on seperate sides of the WAN port.
So in this case, both ON.

Once you switch from Connect Via "disabled" to "DHCP Wired" the option to extend the LAN to the WAN port will disappear anyway so no need to worry

Woah woah woah hold up.
Why is the graph set to "host name Gargoyle"
Shouldn't it be set to the device you're trying to monitor?

Re: Bandwidth usage seems wrong
I can see one report from a v3.
Shouldn't be an issue to keep settings as far as I can see.
Worth doing a backup as always.

Re: Bandwidth usage seems wrong
Everything looks good.
Something rings a bell that with the modified v3 image someone couldn't get part of the firewall working properly. Because this graph runs through the firewall, this rings alarm bells for me.
Are you open to upgrading to the latest 1.9.X?

Is DDNS not an option?
Have the router dynamically tell you what IP address it has so that you can always find it at a convenient address e.g. muminternetsupport.ddns.net.
DDNS is built into gargoyle.

What % of swap did you choose?
That's a nice round figure of 5-4.5 = 10%?

Re: Website Monitoring / Bandwidth Monitoring
I think you've got it, but to clarify anyway. Main Router LAN -> Gargoyle WAN. Connect Via: DHCP Wired. Set router IP to be within the subnet of the main router. At the DHCP configuration page, disable the DHCP server. This will allow all devices to be on the same subnet regardless of which AP they ...

Re: Website Monitoring / Bandwidth Monitoring
That feature only works on traffic that goes through the WAN connection and hence the firewall.
