Re: MTU Size issue

It's not gargoyle it's openwrt and the pppdaemon.

I didn't know until you asked the question. I then looked into it and provided my thoughts. I could be wrong though.

No, the plugin is the closest thing to that.

Re: Wireless bridging with IPv6

No IPv6 support. We have also moved away from the ARPNAT patches. I believe IPv6 is supported by the latest version of relayd, which is the new method being used. However, gargoyle still has no opv6 support.

Looks like we are getting close with the DDNS issue. I've at least got a workaround for the moment (but a not very nice one).

Re: MTU Size issue

Notice it's subtracting 8 each time? This is for the PPP packet headers. Now I'm not great with MTU, but I think the PPPoE interface needs to be 1500, and the Ethernet interface 1492. Therefore we add the PPP headers on the way out and get to 1500. If you set it to 1492, the Ethernet gets set to 149...

Re: Torrent port for QOS

There are options to do what I refer to as "deep packet inspection" where we build an SSL decrypter in. However it is significantly slower and harder on the CPU

Do you experience the same issue with Openwrt?

Re: Torrent port for QOS

Any torrent in general, but it doesn't work currently. I've been meaning to fix that for ages.
Layer 7 matching doesn't work well in general due to encryption. We can no longer inspect the packets.
