Windows 8.1 can't see router. Everything else can
Hi all, I tried searching for this but the terms are too common. Google wasn't a help either. We have two new laptops in the house. Both originally ran Windows 8.0 and could see the router and it's shares fine. After an update to 8.1, neither can see the router's shares. Every other device can see t...

Re: Version 1.6.0
I ended up serial flashing my old image back onto the router for now but I'll hex edit that file and try serial uploading it when I have time. Thanks!

Re: Version 1.6.0
Opened the router up and checked the serial output. It's getting a bad magic number. Uploading the TFTP version over serial now to see if that will work.

Re: Version 1.6.0
Installed through web interface on WZR-HP-G300-NH V2. Same problem as before: Unit fails to boot. Working on a custom build now to see what the problem is. Will update as I have details.

What is the current state of Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH Support?
As noted on the installation guide, the Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH went through a hardware revision that meant it didn't work with OpenWRT (and thus, Gargoyle), I compiled a version of Gargoyle that fixed the issue, for me, and it has been running great. It lists itself as: Gargoyle Version:1.5.X (Built ...

Re: Feature Request - HTTPS Blocking
I'm running an older version, it lists itself as 1.5.x. I downloaded the source and compiled it myself to get it to work on my Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH. I don't seem to have that option. I'm hesitant to upgrade because of the trouble I ran into last time with the image not recognizing the chipset and s...

Feature Request - HTTPS Blocking
Hey All, I've read all the forum topics about how blocking HTTPS is difficult, and that you cannot block HTTPS to URLs because of the encryption. So, here is my question/feature request. Can we have the option to block HTTPS to a local IP range, as in a restriction rule? I currently have a rule to b...

Negative. What I did was fix three files in backfire 338 which made it work with my router. That's all.

Re: Kernel Warnings?
The new source, 30752, left me with the double flash red. Didn't have time to disassemble and check the serial-out for messages. Went back to my custom build over tftp.
Kinda makes me wish I had a second router to play with. I depend on this one too much to play with it right now.
