Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
I have just flashed the new build on my R7800 and the bug is fixed! thank you! Thank you very much for testing that! Good to see that issue resolved. Just noticed something. I have a 300/150Mbit/s PPPoE Fiber connection, and it seems that Gargoyle is only reaching around 100Mbit/s upload,...

Re: VoIP ATA cannot register (sometimes)
You mention uPnP being active in your setup - I just checked and uPnP is disabled in my setup (per default). I can't check now but I have a vague recollection that I may have disabled uPnP on the Netgear router I mentioned too - I'm pretty sure it was enabled by default on that router but I would ha...

Re: VoIP ATA cannot register (sometimes)
Just for the record, I'm running a Yealink SIP telephone behind a Gargoyle 1.11 gateway without using any port forwards or DMZ. My longest gateway uptime is almost 50 days with no issue. The phone is configured with 2 lines - each line is with a different VSP. I've previously run a Cisco SPA-122 ATA...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
I have uploaded an updated build archive and added some change information to the first post . Note that the updated archive has the same name as the original - sorry, expediency rules at the moment  The new build incorporates a patch to the IMQ module loading arrangements (discussed here ) wh...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
If you connect to a PPPoE server from Mikrotik, then it is difficult to create a link - it is not an xDSL modem in bridge mode. Do you mean directly connecting to a Microtik router port? I am connecting to a Microtik PPPoE server via bridged modem - albeit that the Microtik is on the far side of a ...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
I think it's the same bug as here: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=11829&start=80#p51660 https://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=11829&start=160#p52111 https://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=11829&start=180#p5...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
Hmmm... just a brainstorming thought on this non-working WAN - I got a couple of surprises when I used an OPNSense router recently: using a PPPoE WAN I had to explicitly enable 1) updating the routing table and DNS configuration and 2) flushing the NAT table when the PPPoE WAN changed state. Until I...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
Hello, sorry for the delay ;) No probs, thanks for taking the time to test and report results. Sorry that didn't you get some more success for the effort! :( I looked at your logs but nothing really stands out compared to the bootlog on the OpenWrt R7800 device page. I'm just curious whether you've...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
Thanks for your patience, i've had a look. No worries, I'm not in a hurry... ;). My C2600 has now been up as my primary gateway for over 12 days with no problems, though it is hardly stressed. Most of these comments have come about because you pulled from the 1.11.0 tag rather than the latest maste...

That would be appreciated.Lantis wrote:but I can take a look at the config/profile you have built if you would like some feedback so far?
