Re: Version 1.7.2
I'm going to update the first post to recommend people don't preserve settings. I did mention this but it's obviously being missed.

Re: Flash straight from DD-WRT to Gargoyle?
I'd say it's 99% stable.
I've never had a problem on the 1.7.X versions.
Check out the Show/tell/contribute forum for feedback on various versions.
Also the News threads have some feedback. Mostly positive

Re: IPv6 local network only (no ipv4)
Gargoyle currently doesn't support IPv6 (at least not in the GUI).
You may be able to manually set some of it up by following guides for openwrt.

Re: Error installing Adblock
Based on the error you're using 1.6.2?
I've not tested it on this version I'm sorry. As a result I'm not really able to give you any support other than guessing you might have forgotten to load the language pack manually?

Re: WDR3600 with CG300d Setup Issues
Once your modem from Telstra is in bridge mode you connect it to the wan port of your gargoyle modem and select PPPoE mode and enter your Telstra details. I've never heard of that particular Telstra modem. Is it particularly old or new? Telstra gave me the TG587n V3 and I got it working no problems ...

Re: TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ver. 1.6 - LAN Port 4 not working
If that is from 1.7.X then I see no reason it shouldn't be working.
How exactly are you testing?

Re: Upgraded to 1.7.2 on Buffalo g300n, but now bricked?
A USB to serial converter for this kind of thing is probably $10 on eBay. Gotta weigh it up against the cost of a new router. It's $10 to maybe see it live to fight another day or $XX for a new router. As someone who programs stuff with serial every day. It's not too scary. And if you look at it on ...

It could be serial flash time.
