Re: ANI weirdness
After 5 days of capturing packets and messing with different settings on my router and wireless card (Now an atheros card so I can experiment with ANI on both ends), I believe I've discovered the problem: WPA/WPA2 and ANI don't mix... WEP works fine with it (but being already broken, stay away from ...

Re: Shaping/Throttling not working???
My router had the same problem, I flashed the router again using the sysupgrade image and didn't preserve the settings, after setting it up again, it worked perfectly. I'd recommend 1.6.1 since 1.6.2 has wifi issues on one of my routers though. Hope it helps :) Edit: I misread your post.. Throttling...

ANI weirdness
Not sure if this is the right place for this, if not, please move it :) Over the past 2 months, I've experimented with ANI on 3 different routers, in a high interference environment, ANI helped all 3, in a low interference environment, ANI caused 2 routers to drop clients, the remaining router had n...

Re: TP-LINK WR741-ND V4.25 periodic connection drops
Using a similar setup here, but with an EnGenius AP and a WZR-600DHP. If you're trying 40MHz, try it at 20MHz, sometimes the client's radio gets funny ideas of the correct channel in Client/AP mode with 40MHz. Also, try disabling ANI. On some routers, ANI helps, on others, it hinders. to disable ANI...

Re: Buffalo WZR-600DHP wont flash
If you're using the factory version of dd-wrt, use http://www.gargoyle-router.com/downloads/images/ar71xx/gargoyle_1.5.11-ar71xx-generic-wzr-hp-ag300h-squashfs-factory.bin , newer builds didn't work on initial flash on my router. If it doesn't flash, tftp will work for sure, 1.6.1 is the last build ...

Re: Buffalo WZR-600DHP wont flash
I've always had to flash using 1.5.11, then upgrade from there. If you're using the buffalo build, do a 30-30-30, then flash it. This way works every time for me.
hope it helps

ANI on WZR-600DHP
Sorry if I posted in the wrong place, it's my first post :) It seems that a WZR-600DHP works better with ANI enabled. When disabled, it drops all clients after about 20-30 minutes. (Have 50+ clients at all times on an open network), when ANI is enabled, it keeps connections even through the bad inte...
