Re: AP mode (wan wired) problem
OK, it looks like I may have the same problem. If I connect to the AR430W wirelessly, I get the proper IP address, 192.168.2.x for the wireless. If I connect my cable modem to the WAN connection, the WAN settings appear to come up correctly (using DHCP wired). However, if I then connect a PC to LAN ...

Re: Request: Linux Fonflash for Airlink101 AR430W (DI-300)
Should get the documentation updated to the new stuff too. Nice-to-know information would have been: Internet/WAN Ethernet Port Connects to: WAN/LAN If this is set to LAN, you have a 5 port switch, but you must connect to the WAN through wireless! For a standard residential setup, it should be set t...

Re: Request: Linux Fonflash for Airlink101 AR430W (DI-300)
Do I need to do the flash clear if I already have DD-WRT installed?
Do I access redboot the same way as before DD-WRT if I need to?

Re: Request: Linux Fonflash for Airlink101 AR430W (DI-300)
I understand. I'll have to wait til I get home to download and compile. I'm on a secured network here so I can't install SVN on the computer, nor connect my laptop. Which files do I need to download for gargoyle anyway? The instructions just say load Gargoyle files, but there are 6 different files i...

Re: Request: Linux Fonflash for Airlink101 AR430W (DI-300)
That's great!
I hadn't seen him update the thread where he mentioned the AR430W special one that he had compiled for Windows only and linked directly in the thread so I wasn't sure if the new version was now the default one.
Thanks!

Request: Linux Fonflash for Airlink101 AR430W (DI-300)
Hi all, I have an Airlink101 AR430W ($23 CDN) that I have installed DD-WRT on. Because of the featureset of Gargoyle (whitelist!), I'd like to install that on the router instead. The procedure in the installation section lists the procedure, using FonFlash, but its a special version, only for window...

Looking for Howto Whitelist Setup.
Hi all, I've been reading many forums on openWRT, DD-WRT and all of the front ends and Gargoyle seems closest to what I am looking for. Here is the setup I'd like to create and I'm wondering if Gargoyle can do it. If so, how? Router: Linksys WRT54G2-RM --- Not yet purchased. MACs: Group 1 - unlimite...
