Re: Version 1.9.1

It looks like a few of the images are corrupt.. sorry about that.

I'm looking into what caused that and fixing it now.

Re: Gargoyle NAT 'leaking' port 443?

Before digging too much further here, I think it's important to look at the behavior of other routers. It's true, I'm not sure where that information would be stored or how it would be captured in a NATed connection, but I'd like to verify that this doesn't happen with either a default/vanilla insta...

Re: Gargoyle NAT 'leaking' port 443?

Hmm.. I don't see that as something that is a security issue, but it just shouldn't be happening. NAT should prevent the addresses from being visible there, because they are literally over-written in the connection when they are NATed. I'm confused how there is any sort of connection at all in that ...

Re: new Build

I figured out why mvebu isn't building and fixed it, but I'm still trying to figure out why you're having trouble with the ar71xx target.

If you just try doing an ar71xx build what errors are you seeing? I'm having trouble trying to replicate the problems you're seeing there.

Re: new Build

Try it now.

For some reason I could never get it to fail (I tried it again), but I found a missing config option that should be there that lines up with the errors you report, and I updated the config file for the mvebu target accordingly.

Re: The Bleeding Edge

FYI, I've merged the known-devices pull request into a separate branch and am testing that now, just like I did for table sorting a few days ago. Because of it's larger size this may take me a bit longer to evaluate, but it should be merged into master before too long.

Re: new Build

It's crashing for you on the mvebu target, which I managed to build successfully.

It's true, I didn't try the alix or atheros builds with the latest code yet.

Re: new Build

I just did a clean build (starting from a fresh checkout) and couldn't reproduce this error.

Is anyone else experiencing trouble compiling the source in its present state?

Re: Apple vs FBI

Yeah, Apple are the good guys here, no question about it. It's true, Gargoyle has the capacity to control/monitor/restrict users but in my mind it's very, very different when a parent wants to monitor their kid, or a business wants wants to monitor their employees while at work on the internet conne...
