Re: QOS upload min BW timing
I will test again when I get a chance, but I did try that... I lowered the total upload bw parameter that low. As I recall, that didn't help. The only thing that helped is adding Max BW on the other classes. An interesting side effect is, of I lower total Max BW, that limits all upload all the time ...

Re: QOS upload min BW timing
Thanks for getting back to me. To answer your questions... The application needs a minimum of about 500mbps to be reliable, in the upload side. Download side has 10x the bandwidth required, so not a problem. ACC is enabled I have a percentage set, and also a minimum bandwidth. I realize that those a...

QOS upload min BW timing
I need help either setting or understanding the use of "min BW" under QOS. Here is the situation: application to protect is "zoom meetings" which does streaming live meeting audio/video. Other traffic includes bitcoin mining and storjshare drive sharing, both of which have unpred...

Active connections after machine turned off
Is this normal? (Sill trying to reconcile the number of connections tracked with reality)
Active connections to a machine
Turn machine off
45 minutes later, still show active connections to that machine, a few but some.

Re: # connections disparity?
Here is an example of the situation I described earlier, I just cant make sense of these numbers... Shouldn't the total # connections on the status screen equal the total of all the connections on the hosts screen? Device Device Name:Gargoyle Gargoyle Version:1.9.2 Model:NETGEAR WNDR3700 Device Conf...

Re: # connections disparity?
The CPU load was never very high at all. Almost idle.
The ram, I can't say that I noticed during times of trouble. It was not high enough to cause any red flags, but I can't say what it was.

# connections disparity?
This seems a bit odd, so I wanted to report it to see if this is a potential problem or not. It certainly caused me some grief till I figured out what was happening. I have had intermittent issues with new connections failing for a long time, many months, and I finally tracked it down. Curiously, it...

Re: QOS Destination vs Source port
Ok.. so I am confused... Does "src" and "dst" mean the second and destination at the tcp/ip level? If a stream is originated inside, the src is a local ip, and the local port is random. Is that the src IP and src port? It would seem that "source" is the creator or insti...

Slight improvement for 1.9.2 on mobile screens
Love the new interface! Thanks Thanks! much better for smaller screens! One thing that is a bit awkward for small screens like smartphones, is the need to double click now to get to submenues under a different main menu item. for instance, to get to "Firewall -> QOS DOWNLOAD" from the &quo...
