Re: tl-wr741nd-v2 (1.6.2) - QoS not applied to download

I have a working teamspeak3 rule in action, but I'm currently at work.
I'll try and have an answer for you in 6 hours.

EDIT:
Your download rule is mixed up. You want the source port to be "9987", not the destination port. Give that a go and see :)

Re: connect usb hard drive to tp-link

Have you tried it without the hub?

This came up a few weeks ago and no one had experience with using a usb hub and whether it actually worked.

Re: I screwed up. No valid IP configuration.

Geolocation of ip addresses is shaky at best
Generally country is accurate.
State is usually accurate also but not unheard of.

I personally am located 2 hours drive from where my IP says I am.

It's not a feature of gargoyle. Just a nuance of your ISP.

Re: block domain name

Yes that will be fine. Note that if the IP address changes (which it has a chance to every 12 hours) your rule will stop working. Gargoyle will allow you to set this IP to static under the DHCP page. Once the device is on the network, if you know it's IP you can find its Mac address under the "...

Re: block domain name

You misunderstand, the IP you are specifying is the IP on your local network that you want the rule to apply to. Either enter the IP of the device on your network or the MAC address associated with it. i have provided an example. CAUTION: In my example i have done a pretty broad rule for ANY url tha...

Re: I screwed up. No valid IP configuration.

i may be misunderstanding you. but i think you've done something wrong here. You want to set a static IP in windows in the 192.168.1.x range (anything but 1) so that you can connect to the router and enable dhcp. Once DHCP is enabled you can remove your static IP through windows and any device on yo...

Re: TL-WR720N, v1

If it's not here, it won't get gargoyle support.
