Hi All,
QoS worked flawlessly until after Webcam has been enabled. Knowing that Webcam is not a passionately pursued feature, just wonder if this is a known issue.
Thanks

Re: 1.11.X (Built 20190405-0155 git@4685bd7f) extroot
Hi Lantis,
You are right. Chrome seems to be less compatible with Gargoyle UI: both in terms of dropping the second popup, and in terms of UI fluency. Finally got a reason to keep it.
Cheers.

Extroot issie, 1.11.X (Built 20190405-0155 git@4685bd7f)
Hi All, Glad to see yet another update to Gargoyle firmware. I flashed 1.11.x (build 190405), replacing the OEM firmware. Everything seems to work pretty smoothly (Channel 13, QoS, Wifi Schedule, Adblock) until I tried plugin a 4GB USB stick and formatting it with extroot option. The UI did ask for ...

Is version 1.10.1 on the way? According to
https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/do ... strictions "Version 1.10.1 and above now blocks http and https (encrypted) traffic."

kernel - 3.18.23-1-b2f200610f46d20ef52d269421369d0c
Hi All, Just wonder which Gargoyle was build on Linux kernel version 3.18.23-1-b2f200610f46d20ef52d269421369d0c , which seemed to support some software packages that I'd like to test. SVN: r48532 seemed to be upped with Linux kernel 3.18.23 (https://wiki.openwrt.org/about/history). Does that mean my...

Zram
Hi All,
Is Zram possible with Gargoyle? Enabling tor relay on wdr3600 generates lots of I/O and slows down the device significantly. I was wondering if Zram may help. The device is flashed with 1.10.X (Built 20180108-0525 git@73868cc)

Is manual Tor upgrade allowed
Hi All,
Gargoyle 1.10.x bundles Tor 0.3.1.7.
Am I going to mess up anything if I manually upgrade Tor to the current recommended versions, e.g., 0.3.1.10 or 0.3.2.9? Or is it not allowed at all?

Install Transmission-daemon on Gargoyle 1.10
It seems that the plugin sources for chaos_calmer have changed (temporarily?), which makes Gargoyle plugin presets cease to work. I have to manually add a few archive locations before transmission-deamon installation, eg., http://archive.openwrt.org/chaos_calmer/15.05.1/ar71xx/generic/packages/packa...

Re: Two swap space on two attached usb devices
it worked!! thanks. just found a site that says: If two or more areas have the same priority, and it is the highest priority available, pages are allocated on a round-robin basis between them. btw, when the router reboots the priorities will be different again, right? is there a way to make this cha...

Two swap space on two attached usb devices
Hi All, I created two swap partitions but cannot assign the same priority to both of them. With /dev/sda2 already setup as swap with priority -1, the command "swapon -p -1 /dev/sdb2" will only setup sdb2 at priority -2. Quote: "One great thing about the Linux swapping subsystem is tha...
