Re: Failed obtaining IP in Repeater Mood

Re: Tp-Link 840 v6
As said, it has 4MB of flash and 32MB of ram. 4MB routers are being discontinued (for good). If yout plan is Gargoyle, I suggest you buy another router (or it might be possible to build previous versions for your router -- 1.9.2 """"may"""" work). I can't help...

Re: Ubiquiti BulletM2 lost password
Nice! Good job!
The way you changed the password was with the passwd command?
Hope you stick to gargoyle, despite the rough start.
Happy new year everyone.

Re: Ubiquiti BulletM2 lost password
Yes indeed, it has a reset button, but it seems to have no effect on resetting the gargoyle software. I tried every procedure and combination, i could find online to reset, but no luck there. It may work if it had ubiquiti firmware installed, I guess..? 1. Have you tried starting the router while h...

Re: Successfully flashed a router? Tell Us!
I’m happy to help you get started with firmware building. It isn’t difficult, but it requires a little bit of know how. Particularly when it doesn’t work. I think those devices are good because they are cheap, but I’m not sure on their performance. Great! Will do some further research on the model ...

Re: Successfully flashed a router? Tell Us!
I had a look at it. It is Ramips which we already support (good), but it is a new profile (MT7621) which we don't have (bad). It would be better if someone who has already compiled and tested one could send me the .config to check and use. Until then i'd prefer to leave it. I’ll look at it, but I’d...

Re: Router Speed tests
Reposting here some speedtest I made on the 1.11.0 RC5 topic. Testing on an AR150 device over ~500/500 link (at the time of this post). My network layout is (outsite > inside) ISPs Fiber ONU > WDR4300(stock fw) > AR150 (1.11.0 RC5) > PC (ookla speedtest app for windows). Everything cabled. Gigabit w...
