Which setting have you chosen in Gargoyle (Connection > Basic)? Wireless Bridge/Repeater?
Anyway, you should put Gargoyle router to IP above 192.168.1.52.

Yes, I also found out Steam uses port 80 to download games, but since I download new games rarely I didn't take deeper look. This problem can probably be solved by looking at IPs Steam uses and set addition filter for them.

1) You can identify some torrent traffic by using Bittorrent L7 filter, but most of it will get through.
