Adblock - can't add to white list

Hi, I am running 1.9.1 on NETGEAR WNDR3700v4. I only recently started to tinker with the adblock options as a legimate site I was using is now being blocked. In the adblock screen there does not appear to be a button to add to the white list. I have tried refreshing plugins, uninstall and reinstall ...

Re: Wireless N+G+B flaky

Was able to duplicate the problem.

It was because I changed the wireless channel from 1 to 6. I have changed it back to 1 and it is fine. I thought my next door neighbour was running channel 1 but was actually channel 6. I am not sure whether is was a channel conflict or something else.

Re: Wireless N+G+B flaky

Hurray!

After flashing to OpenWrt to do some testing and back to Gargoyle, the problem has gone away.

In future, I will always reflash as a first resort. Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.

Re: Wireless N+G+B flaky

Tried Gargoyle 1.9.0 for Broadcom (on an old router) and the wifi connection is fine - both laptops can be turned on at the same time. However, I did notice that one of the laptops connected after the first one connected. I will need to get some installation and setup information on OpenWrt before t...

Re: Wireless N+G+B flaky

More information... I start the router and give it a few minutes to fully boot up. When i switch on both laptops at the same time - one will connect and the other will have a faulty wifi connection. When I switch on one laptop and allow it to boot up and get a wifi connection before switching the se...

Wireless N+G+B flaky

I have tried 1.8.1 and now 1.9.0. Sometimes my laptop will connect to Gargoyle but I don't have internet access and no access to the router 192.168.1.1. It assigns my computer the static address I set up. When I mouse over the icon on the bottom right of the windows screen it says Unidentified netwo...

Re: Upgrading WNDR3700v4

Thanks, the upgrade worked using the .tar file. Version 1.8.1 wifi was buggy so I wouldn't recommend it. Just upgraded to 1.9.0 and so far so good. Note: The upgrading please wait message does not disappear. Just open up another window after a while and it has actually completed - otherwise you coul...

Upgrading WNDR3700v4

I'm a long time user of DD-WRT and Tomato. I have recently switched to OpenWRT/Gargoyle as it has everything I need. That is, restricting the kid's YouTube time and CLI commands that work with my NAS. I tried Gargoyle late last year but encountered a buggy web interface so did not persist with it - ...

Re: WNDR3700v4 1.7->1.7.1

Finally got it back to stock firmware. It is an exercise in patience, literally. I put the WNDR3700v4 in recovery mode and flashed it using tftp2 onto stock firmware - noticed the firmware was less than 8MB. Wait for 20 minutes while it cycles. Unplug it for a little while - suppose to be 1 minute b...

Re: WNDR3700v4 1.7->1.7.1

Anyone successfully reverted back to stock firmware or dd-wrt? I am running gargoyle 1.8.1 on a Netgear WNDR3700v4. I noticed there is a lot of help if you are on TP-LINK but not so much on other hardware. I tried using the web interface but that does not do anything. I used tftp but that just brick...
