Re: X86 mini PC
At the very least, wpad-openssl is missing.
Nothing else immediately obvious comes to mind… try that

Re: X86 mini PC
Can you post your build config? Most likely a piece of the puzzle missing which is preventing it coming up.
Wifi offline by default sorry (as in regular OpenWrt as well).
Well done on getting a working build at the very least!

Re: X86 mini PC
I've never experienced point 2, I never interact with the grub menu.
My x86 box also restarts itself on power outage every time. This is a bios setting generally and has not much to do with Gargoyle.
For point 1, the easiest way is to do a custom build with your required drivers selected.

Re: Wireguard on 1.13.0
Yes exactly, and thanks for your verbose instructions. That will help others before the code fix hits (https://github.com/ericpaulbishop/gargoyle/commit/b784daad34b58221769f82e222e2bb9629d706fa). I’m surprised by result 4, I thought it would have been ok anyway. But if this fixed that as well that’s...

Re: Wireguard on 1.13.0
Apologies for the delay. In your client peers, when you export the wgconf, under the allowedips section change 10.64.0.1/24 to 10.64.0.0/24 Then load it to the clients and test. If you want to just go and fix it quickly, you can change it directly in your /etc/config/network for the client, then /us...

It’s not just you. I’m working on it.
If you set clients use it for all traffic it works fine bidirectional

Re: Version 1.14.0: Based on OpenWrt 22.03
The kernel uses more memory than it used to, as do most of the userspace utilities. The oom-killer does what it can to keep the system running, but it kills indiscriminately and eventually takes down something that it shouldn't. The full warning from upstream is here: https://openwrt.org/supported_d...

Thanks for reporting.
Realistically, 32MB RAM devices are unsupportable moving forward, and this release was always going to be borderline.
You may need to stay with 1.13
