Yes. Your router can access it just fine, browsers cannot.

Glad the install was straight forward.
There is no easy way to distinguish Netflix traffic because it comes through on the same port as other services. You could try filtering by IP address or connection bytes. Unfortunately there isn't a way to exclude these from the quotas.

Its just the way its organised. It gets compiled as part of the ar71xx suite of routers so it gets placed in the same folder.
