Re: Guest ssid
Guest SSID, or multiple SSIDs in general. Basically, something similar to the way dd-wrt does it would be great.

Re: Rosewill RNX-GX4 Issue
You need to hard reset your router to factory defaults to clear out the flash memory of whatever crap is stuck in there that is causing your problems. This is how you do it with the RNX-GX4: 1. Unplug the power of RNX-GX4 2. Using a sharp item to press on the “Default” button at the back of the RNX-...

Re: Why Gargoyle for my 3700?
The OpenWRT wireless drivers are most likely using a more sensitive setting to detect interference than dd-wrt or the stock Netgear firmware. If interference is detected, the router is supposed to drop it's data rate, even abandon channel bonding. I wouldn't put much weight into whatever graphic/out...

Re: Why Gargoyle for my 3700?
Could/should this all be doable from the Gargoyle web interface? Probably. Maybe Eric will add multiple SSID support in the future:

Re: Problem with TP-Link TL-WR1043ND
Power up your router. When the 'SYS' light starts to blink, press and hold the QSS button in the front-right until the blinking gets faster.

Re: TPLINK TL-WR941ND, extremely slow speed
Wait until the next version of Gargoyle, 1.5.5 and the problem might fix itself. Otherwise I have no clue why it is slow.

Re: WNDR3700 slow after power off
There is no such thing as a 30/30/30 reset with OpenWRT.

Re: TPLINK TL-WR941ND, extremely slow speed
There is some sort of bugfix for ath9k client mode in the backfire branch that isn't in the current version of Gargoyle. Usually Eric includes these updates in each new release of Gargoyle: https://dev.openwrt.org/changeset/31266/branches/backfire That said, it still seems weird to me that the downl...
