Re: NEW NAME FOR GARGOyLE
Lol. I put in my donation message to eric that if there was a kool shirt in the store I would buy it. I think it should have a small logo on the front and this caption in the back. "Gargoyle router's do not hate baby Jesus" To be honest I thought of another alternative: 'Gargoyle router f...

Re: How do I turn a WZR-HP-G300NH into a client bridge?
A question:
Under Connection / DHCP do you have the setting 'LAN DHCP Server Enabled' on or off? Switching this, does that change anything? Your main router and bridged one may be fighting over handing down an IP.
Just a thought.

Re: Netgear WNDR3700v2
I have briefly looked over the product and believe I read that with the 3700 you may lose the dual radio functins? Is this true? Short answer; no that's not true. I own and use one of these myself and after almost losing any confidence in that router with the original firmware, I'm a happy user wit...

Re: Version 1.4.2
My WNDR3700 has suddenly started dropping wireless connections. It's not all wireless connections just one or so. I'll be working on a laptop and all of a sudden it's trying to obtain an IP again and fails to do so until I reboot the router. Meanwhile all other wireless devices are connecting fine....

Re: BW Distribution page not working with Firefox 7.0.1
Using 1.4.2 and Https via Wan on a WNDR3700 I cant recall if it was working with FF 6 or 7 but currently on 7.0.1 and the page does not display any information. While it works fine with chrome Do you by any chance have NoScript enabled? Allow it for the local router address and it should display ju...

Some 'errors'
Hi, While using Gargoyle version 1.4.2 for a while know I find some things are not working as expected. - Using Status / Web Usage / Web Monitor Preferences I'm unable to make the setting 'Monitor Only Hosts Below' stick. After setting the IP's I want to watch and saving the changes, the setting alw...

Re: Recommend a good dual-band N router that can run Gargoyl
I'm currently running Gargoyle 1.2.5 on an old WRT54GL. I'm considering getting a newer router with more RAM, Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band 802.11n wifi. Does anyone have one in particular that they own that works really well and runs Gargoyle? Like DoesItMatter already pointed out; the Netgear WN...

After update; version number wrong?
Hi, Early this morning I updated the Gargoyle firmware on my Netgear WNDR3700v2 from version 1.4.0 to version 1.4.2. The settings after the update were the default ones, as mentioned upon starting the firmware upload. After restoring the previously backed-up settings, the Status / Overview page says...
