Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
But this is the news forum, that is made for Eric to post when there is a new release. "Troubleshooting / Report Bugs" is made for us to report if we have trouble. I guess I just have a rebellious streak when it comes to commenting on new releases of third party firmware. Also, what would...

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
Make a post in troubleshooting and please add your wifi settings My wifi settings are nothings special: WPA2 psk, 20 mhz, plain AP. b+g+n The router is a 1043nd v1.8. I rather not reiterate everything I've said in my comments somewhere else. I feel they are in context here. But the mods should feel...

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
It happened again. Wifi has slowed down to a crawl again (0.54 Mbit/s down vs 11 after reboot). This is my syslog: http://pastie.org/3144945
Hope it can be of some help.

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
Now, it seems, the wifi died completely, but I could start it without a reboot by initiating it again (using the command wifi ) over shh. I activated syslog (but to memory). Hopefully that will telll us what is going on. I also suspect that when mix report that: I have found out that the usb perform...

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
I'm experiencing a significant slowdown after a while with 1.5.2 on a wr1043nd v 1.8. In the beginning I have the following performance: receive 11.5 Mbit/s send 1.2 Mbit/s latency 5ms After 12 hours: receive 1.2 Mbit/s send 0.2 Mbit/s latency 15ms After a reboot I get back to full speed. I used to...

Re: openswan on wndr3700v1
I'm very interested in getting some kind of ipsec functionality too. I've made a attempt with racoon, but the level of detail the open wrt wiki offered combined with my limited linux knowledge made the attempt unsuccessful. Did you try using racoon at all?
If you do succeed, please report back.

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
I plan to, but it will take a while before the router has slowed down to a crawl again, so trouble shooting will be time consuming.Have you tested if it is only WIFI or also wired

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
I managed to brick my router trying to upgrade to 1.5.2 (a wr1043nd). The reason was a faulty network port on my laptop, but i still think the upgrade procedure could be more like in lucy, in that it uploads completely then it asks if the hash is correct and if you want to procede. The failsafe-mode...

kbit in QoS equal to 1000 or 1024 bits?
It might sound like a dumb question, but I found some diverting opinions online. Wikipedia insist that 1 kbit = 1000 bits but the google calculator disagrees most vehemently suggesting 1024 bits.
