Re: 1.13.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2020-December-14 23
plugin_root and extroot are two different things. plugin_root will only use USB as additional storage for packages - but extroot will make USB as if it were FLASH memory and will become fully part of Gargoyle. But I don't think you will get to extroot - maybe first try to install the plugin w...

Re: 1.13.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2020-December-14 23
Make sure (using the command) if the root plugin really leads to USB: ls -la /plugin_root | grep "\->" It should write the path where the symbolic link leads. If it doesn't write anything, then you don't have the root plugin pointed to USB. P.S. Otherwise, I don't have the opportunity to t...

Re: 1.13.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2020-December-14 23
I also noticed it (for all versions 1.13.x). After inactivity, both the tablet and the phone disconnected and it took them a while to connect when they were active again. The same is the same in OpenWrt 19.07. Try putting the following settings in the WiFi settings in the /etc/config/wireless...

Re: Only Reset basic section
It looks like you have corrupted other configuration files and deleting them will no longer fix it. It's not good to play the configuration manually if you don't know what it will do - you don't have a backup and you'll have to start over. Back up at least the iperf configuration and you can start a...

And shouldn't the *-sysupgrade.bin file be inserted?

Re: 1.13.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2020-December-14 23
So I could help and make them easier to download, so I started my own web server: http://gargoyle.romanhk.cz Here you can find the latest (and some older) builds from this forum. Build from @ispyisail (I thank him): The "images and built" directory will be decompressed by file. Here you wi...

Re: Only Reset basic section
If you delete only the WiFi configuration, it will not affect the rest of the settings (iperf).
Try deleting the WiFi configuration and restarting the router to be sure. Then also restart the browser so that things are not left in the buffer.

Re: Restrictions
You are probably looking for and referring to this setting (I use Gargoyle 1.13.x, so it may be slightly different):

Re: Only Reset basic section
Probably the easiest way is to delete the faulty WiFi configuration, let it generate a new one and then set it again via the GUI:
Code: Select all
rm -rf /etc/config/wireless
wifi config
