Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-May-25 01:27.torrent
Can you try killing transmission first? Could be an out of memory issue Looks more like a problem with extroot. I've been able to update to the build from June 14th, 2017 by following these steps: 1) Log in with SSH, issue reboot command (shutdown is missing) 2) Wait unil the LEDs go dark, unplug t...

Can you try killing transmission first? Could be an out of memory issue I'd say that's unlikely: Memory Usage:42.5MB / 123.1MB (34.5%) Swap Memory Usage:0MB / 1191.9MB (0%) There's a 128GB USB stick attached, and lots of space free: df Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on rootfs 1188...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-May-25 01:27.torrent
Trying to upgrade my TP-Link Archer C5 running 1.9.X (Built 20170224-0007 git@c4cb5d5), preserving settings. There is no error message, and the router reboots, but afterwards the system reports the very same version. It's still running, transmission and all, but shouldn't it report a newer build dat...

Re: Identifying additional Routers and Repeaters connected to Gargoyle Router
7) In spite of naming each "known" device and assigning a static IP address to it, at times, I still get some devices which I cannot identify and which are not named as being connected to Gargoyle Router. I guess these could be the DVR or some other odd device like Kindle etc. How do I id...

Re: Looking for budget AC or dual band router
It is, but only if you can get version 1.2. Version 2 has a different chipset (Broadcom instead of Atheros) and isn't supported by OpenWRT and hence Gargoyle.enli wrote: From what I have researched, Archer C5 would be good fit.

I don't see an image either. Maybe the direct image link is broken in the forum (or browser), or whatever. The image URL works, resolves to https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNS6bWZXsz9PaL3CgvoRAW6e71JKG0j92KWByoxXUJU7BPesvX_2cdKuAUqtq_fRA?key=alRBV3Q3UERaai1vczd2TC1lWG9YbzN2ZmlqVm9n and displays...

Re: Tp link 1043 v4
Hi somebody know can i install gargoyle in tp link 1043 version 4? Looking at https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd it seems there isn't even a properly working OpenWRT yet. So no, you can't install Gargoyle. The V4 has got a different SOC, so it won't do installing software for V3 or be...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-March-24 22:35.torrent
Have there been any changes at all to gargoyle_1.9.x-ar71xx-generic-archer-c5-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin? It's exactly the same size in the snapshot builds from february 24th, march 2nd and march 24th. I did install this version over the one from a month back, but it reports Gargoyle Version:1.9.X (Bui...

Re: I can not block websites
Hi, I am trying to block a website using the Gargoyle router, but it appears it is not working. I have the following: Router: TL-WR1043ND with Gargoyle V1.8.1. The Gargoyle is hooked up to my DSL modem at PORT1. PORT 4 is hooked up to my GIGABIT SWITCH, and my computer is hooked to the same gigabit...

Re: Bandwidth recording for isolated wireless network
Gargoyle can only count and report traffic that passes through the router it is installed on. If you had a second router in gateway mode connected with it's WAN port to a LAN port of your Gargoyle, it would show up as a normal client with the combined traffic of all its clients summed up into one in...
