Re: A Commercial Edition?
That kind of defeats erics purpose with gargoyle, but if you want to commercially sell routers with gargoyle pre installed, you do need to pay licensing fees. I do not want to sell anything! What I meant that Eric is spending time and effort on development... which I think that they are limit...

A Commercial Edition?
We all know that Gargoyle is a free open-source software, and Gargoyle developers are consuming time and effort in the development. DD-WRT have a commercial edition, so why not Gargoyle ? It will be a great idea if there was a Gargoyle Advance Edition that have more features (like VLANs, multiple SS...

Re: List of supported routers?
I am asking for a general "list of supported hardware", but if I want to be specific I want a list of supported hardware with 32+ MB of ram and 300+ MHz processor (I have a WRT54GL which is similar to the WNDR3300 that you suggested). The Linksys WRT610N v2.0 have 64 MB of ram, 480 MHz Bro...

Re: List of supported routers?
The importance of the "list of supported routers" is that it shows what hardware were flashed with Gargoyle successfully (by users or developers).
By the way, anybody tried Gargoyle on Linksys WRT160N or WRT610N?

List of supported routers?
Is there any table of supported hardware that were reported by users (or tested by Gargoyle developers)? There is a table of supported hardware on the OpenWrt website, but does Gargoyle has its own table?

Web Monitor Preferences Bug
I am facing a problem with the "Web Monitor Preferences" page, and I think that it is caused by a bug. My router is a WRT54GL (4 MB Flash , 16 MB RAM), and I am using the last version of Gargoyle (Version 1.2.3). When I enable the web usage monitor, the visited websites start to appear in ...

Re: Getting Around the Quota
First, do be aware of the limitations of a captive portal. After a user has authenticated with a captive portal their MAC/IP combination then gives them access. If while a user is logged in their MAC/IP is sniffed, and forged, the hacker who sniffed the MAC/IP can still break in. The advantage is t...

Re: Getting Around the Quota
Gargoyle87: It was very nice to read your comments about linking quota with username rather than IP. I've had the same idea for a while but seeing that most of the members of this forum are interested in other issues (such usage graphs, pie charts and tables etc.) I thought I'd keep my ideas to mys...
