Probably not, the only correct (relevant) values are here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_(file)or http://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man5/hosts.5.htmlagrohe21 wrote:Is there some sort of log file that would say the hosts file was formatted incorrectly?

So it looks like the wrong configuration. A log listing may have helped you identify the error:
Code: Select all

Re: Bandwidth Monitoring Not Working on new Gargoyle 1.12 WRT32X
1. Do you use Gragoyle as a gateway (WAN on the Internet, LAN computers)? or as a bridge (switch)?
- but if you use Gargoyle as a bridge or switch, these features will not work.
2. As an alternative, try resetting the configuration to default and starting from scratch.

Try one more command to be sure, so the whole procedure should be:
Code: Select all
/etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle enable
/etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle start

Re: web server not working
You should deal with it in the Polish Forum https://eko.one.pl/forum/viewforum.php?id=18 ... Edit the /etc/config/uhttpd file and fix the ports. Default configuration: EDIT: Sorry  , I opened the wrong router, which is based on OpenWrt. The configuration from Gargoyle points to @Lantis in the ...

Re: Wireless Bridge/Repeater
I think I'm running into an issue surrounding this. I have a gargoyle router acting as a DHCP/DNS server for the whole network and another gargoyle router connected via a long cable broadcasting a wireless network to cover a different area. That works great, everyone has network access. However, I ...

Re: I cannot use address 192.168.1.2 in my lan
1. Do not keep settings. Also, do not restore the settings from backup (if already done, reset the settings to default).
2. Check the WAN (internet) port for IP quarreling (if your router is in Gateway mode, WAN@LAN must be in another subnet!)

Re: router fire wall
Then you go ahead and suggest the user using an ISP customised version that we know nothing about flashes a plain build? What if user loses internet access or support from their ISP? I have never noticed this information as an ISP router, so I went into it - but of course, as far as hardware from a...

Re: router fire wall
The only thing I found about the application and the bug is here: https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/issues/1371 Maybe it will be the opening of port 1935, but well, it's just my conjecture. 1. Try reconfiguring your media service provider: https://i.imgur.com/7xJqFGU.png (the question is if the service...
