Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-27 10:21.torrent
Installed it over Gargoyle-Ispy January 19th, 2017 with preserving settings on my Archer C7 V2. Looks good so far, it's still working :-) One thing: In Firewall settings, I've got a restriction for one of my network cameras. It shouldn't phone home, so I've set a rule to block outgoing UDP connectio...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-27 10:21.torrent
Thank You Very Much!
I've got the torrent running, but at my other place. I've been uploading 8 to ten times times the download size for most of the last year's builds, too, but this time around timing was simply inconvenient.
Regards
Ektus.

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-27 10:21.torrent
Is there a way to download the new firmware without using a torrent? It seems to be blocked by the ISP here (4G wireless connection). Preferably a single file for the Archer C7 only.
If not, I'll have to postpone updating and testing to next weekend

Re: Upload data usage high during normal browsing
In your last post you state a download/upload ratio of over 12:1. This is pretty normal I think. So I doubt you will find much interesting. Your original post states a ratio of 2:1. This is not normal. So which is it? The last one was with a Java update, so a couple MB on the download side. Today's...

Re: Upload data usage high during normal browsing
No encrypted connections do not cause higher than upload traffic than unencrypted connections. One of your devices is uploading data. Cloud services do this for example. Many other too. Look in your connection list and see if you can see the connection uploading the most data. See which remote IP i...

Upload data usage high during normal browsing
I've got the impression there is an excessive amount of data uploaded during normal browsing. Bandwith distribution table shows 11MB download and 6MB upload for today's data usage of this laptop. I've got a dozen windows open in Seamonkey with various sites, but that's all surfing newssites, smashwo...

Routing trouble
Hi all, I've got a very strange problem here. As of yesterday, I've replaced a WD MyNet N900 running stock with a TP-Link Archer C7 V2.0 running the latest 1.9.x firmware build 2017-01-19. Since then, one of my vintage computers has lost most of it's network access. It's an Atari Falcon with a ROM-P...

Re: WNDR3700 Wireless N Not Working
The channel I am trying to use is 8 and I think the pairing is then 4 I think. The noscan option did indeed cause the second channel (4) to start operation. There are other signals in the vicinity although they are very weak and none of them are channel 4. I guess they are enough to block the setup...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-19 10:47.torrent
Looks like that is a result of the DHCP range preset being faulty, the last field in the "End DHCP range" entries reads "NaN". http://www.ektus.de/bilder/Gargoyle_DHCP_preset_error.png This should work by default. That's a config corruption. I'll double check it, but it hasn't c...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-19 10:47.torrent
GUI glitch: The "Edit Static DHCP" popup window is too small. http://www.ektus.de/bilder/Gargoyle_new_edit_DHCP.png I did enter a list of 10 devices, but when trying to save and apply the changes, there's only an error message There is an error in End Changes could not be applied http://ww...
