Hi,
Yeah I had the same issue....I just changed my internal LAN to 192.168.1.x (which was pretty easy) and from then upgrades to my router are a breeze.
Not sure how commercial router \ firmware hold there values, could be a question for Eric...

Hi there, I believe there is no way for the router to "keep" its configuration after an upgrade however you can create a back up .tar file under System and Backup / Restore. Once the upgrade has been completed you can browse to that file with the "Restore Configuration Now" featu...

Hi Flora,
Once 100% has been reached there is no access to the outside world for the IP, also I don't believe there is no shaping at this point.
Also there is peak \ off peak settings within the quota system...please see image (added in latest builds)

I have found the WRT-54GL to be flawless....running version 1.0.1 it is bullet proof.

Hi Eric, Just a quick up date re my last post...had two IP's blocked from the internet (recreated quotas) with only 1/3 to 1/2 of thier usage used. Deleted both the IP \ quota's and the issue was resolved.... Not sure how to move forward with this, if there is any diags I can do please let me know.....
