Lantis included blocking encrypted sites in the code a while back. I'm not sure if this was only added to the mvebu code but I believe its in the current development version. Works for everything I've tested it with (facebook,yahoo, snapchat etc.)

Sorry edited after engaging brain. It looks like your isp modem is in router mode as your gargoyle router is getting a local address. Is there any way to put your isp modem in modem mode so your router gets a public address. At the moment how does your isp modem know where to send requests on port ...

Yep that's fixed it - changed client_zone to zone and now it puts the ip address of the router in both of those lines in the config files and dnsmasq doesn't crash

Have found the issue with enabling TOR - fired up my syslog and found dnsmasq crashed as soon as TOR was enabled with the following - "bad address at line 54 of /var/etc/dnsmasq.conf.cfg01411c" This line is added when TOR is enabled - "server=/.onion/#9053" Commenting it out rest...

ok but can you enable the optin for tor to be triggered by individual hosts (you don't have to trigger any hosts) and see if a new client can join the network and receive an IP address?
