Does Web Usage Monitor get enabled for anyone upon upgrade if it was previously disabled?

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-27 10:21.torrent

How do you do that? I noticed that too, but it showed up automatically some time later, though come to think of it, I may have had to reboot. Regarding the upgrade, is the "Upgrading, please wait" (or whatever the phrase is) ever actually supposed to change? I've let it go quite a long tim...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-24 20:11.torrent

Not well enough to have whipped that up, but I can see what you're doing and it's a vast improvement in the mid-range, which is where the real problem was. If we're shooting for making that to look as close to the way it was as possible, I think 4/4/8 is closer to it than 6/6/12, particularly as far...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-24 20:11.torrent

Graphs are ok in my opinion, but the BW_Distribution graph (all of the pie charts) are too big. That being said, my change there was overruled. Eek! That's too bad. Here's the old/new versions (unless the browser is pretty much maxed out): http://imgur.com/0hlmTX0.jpg http://i.imgur.com/9N4zj6w.jpg

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-24 20:11.torrent

@ispyisail, you're running full-screen, I bet. Try narrowing the browser a bit, and I think you'll find that things rearrange as you pointed out.

You'll find the bandwidth usage graphs to get even larger though.

@guyso, I think these files have what you want:
/etc/hosts
/etc/config/firewall

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-24 20:11.torrent

I think the answer to this is also "yes," but is it normal for an upgrade not to preserve user-added plugins?

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-24 20:11.torrent

Like you said it was OK to do from 12 to 19, is it OK to keep settings if going from 19 to this?

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-19 10:47.torrent

OK, here are some cosmetic things that I noticed: 1) On Status/Overview, multiple DNS IPs are oddly justified: http://i.imgur.com/t9JxRwI.jpg 2) Status/BW Graphs are massive (FF, Chrome), with all three being much larger than the largest table in 1.9.1. BW and QoS Distribution have much the same pro...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-19 10:47.torrent

Any idea what bursts of these, sometimes for long stretches, in the System log might be about?

Code: Select all

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-January-19 10:47.torrent

Looking good so far on wndrmacv2. Might this be a good time to add support in the UI for WAN DNS when configured for Static IP? It is not as if it's optional, you will find it in other firmware such as DD-WRT, and the workaround is obscure at best. https://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php...
