Re: Version 1.5.10
It's very common problem for certain routers. Presumably it got fixed in OpenWRT ( see thi s), but we'll have to wait for Gargoyle update to get it. As I said I don't understand how updating process works for Gargoyle and to which version of OpenWRT the fix has been pushed (if it's only bleeding edg...

Re: Version 1.5.10
Major ticket regarding Wi-Fi performance of ar71xx/ath9k routers, has just been marked fixed and closed.
I'm not sure when or if this will be added to AA and thus Gargoyle, since I don't understand dev/patch system of OpenWRT.

Re: Wifi not recovering
Since I don't use features in new releases, I moved back to 1.5.6 (last backfire based version). So far I got 8 days of uptime w/o a single problem. I've concluded, that in my case, AA is to blame. I hope it gets fixed before Eric comes out with some mouth-watering features, that will make me want t...

Re: Wifi not recovering
Just a quick update. Router dropped Wi-Fi sometime during the night. In the morning I tried power-cycle which didn't work. I couldn't be bothered to fix the bug with software reset, so I just left everything standing. To my surprise Wi-Fi came back on-line about 3h later and it's working just fine ...

Re: Wifi not recovering
I have the same problem, also with Gargoyle 1.5.9 on WRT160NL. I can't say that I tied the bug to ADSL dropping, because I didn't look into that, but I do use ADSL (gateway) and it is possible that it's causing my problems also. Bug happens anytime between ~3h and ~3 days. The funny thing is, that W...

Re: Version 1.5.9 - Plugins Interface
Reporting in from successful 1.5.8 -> 1.5.9 upgrade on Linksys WRT160NL. I did not "Attempt to Preserve Settings". Manual settings restore worked fine. I'll let you know in a few days if 1.5.8 version's wireless problems still exist. Gargoyle plugin URL returns "403 Forbidden". I...

Re: QoS configuration disappears after power loss and breaks
Yes, I'm aware of that, but since I have to rebuild whole config, I might as well do it on a newer version. Of course I'll back things up, before I go into QoS configuration.
Thanks for your reminder tho.

Re: QoS configuration disappears after power loss and breaks
I've had similar problem today with Gargoyle 1.4.6 (WRT160-Nl), which led me to this, surprisingly recent topic. I'd had edited QoS rules quite a few times before, but today, for the first time, I added a new class with "Bandwidth Minimum" (It wasn't the only one tho. I was also using defa...
