Re: QOSMON v2.3 Released to repo (ACC)
Fantastic work on the new QOSMON, pbix . It's a lot smoother when decreasing the Link Limit, which also now takes way longer to actually happen, even when the link is at full capacity. It's also a lot faster when bringing it up to it's default value. No way I could reach full capacity without ACC br...

Re: Adblock Plugin
Legend! Thanks for that quick response. I'm currently using a consolidated hosts file from StevenBlack. Is there any particular reason you use that instead of the default? For pure testing purposes, I've also tried other several hosts sources (smaller ones, but combined) in the past, and thought I'...

Re: Adblock Plugin
By default, Adblock pulls hosts data from these sources: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.txt http://adaway.org/hosts.txt I'm currently using a consolidated hosts file from StevenBlack . If you want to try it out, make sure your router has enough free space, because the hosts file itself consum...

Re: WiFi disable by the Web Interface
Try the "WiFi Schedule" plugin, it has buttons for Enable/Disable WiFi, not sure if it will stick against reboots though.

Thanks Lantis.Lantis wrote:kill -SIGUSR1 $(pidof qosmon)
Should do the trick. I have had in the back of my mind adding a button to do just this.
Yes, I guess that such feature would be helpful to other people as well.

Re: QOSMON v2.3 Released to repo (ACC)
2) It is now possible to reset the link speed to the initial value from the command line without restarting QOS. This is done by sending the SIGUSR1 signal to the QOSMON process. People might make use of this feature in scripts written to handle certain situations. I will be interested to hear exam...

Re: Fast CPU Gargoyle supported
Turns out the WRT3200ACM was only 20$ more than the WRT1900ACS, so went with the more powerful router. Since the WiFi won't be used short term, the faster CPU will be worth the investment. Time to kick the kids off the internet and see how this router performs. I believe that's one of (if not) the ...

Re: Connected guests
Thanks for your work on this new feature. Assuming that I've manually updated all the necessary files, what's the proposed scenario for testing? Simply creating a Guest Network?Lantis wrote:This is a good suggestion. I’ll add it to my list.
EDIT: Done, should be a part of 1.11.0 when released.
