Wireless bridge/repeater in Archer C7 v2 1.10.0
I wanted to extend the wifi signal of an AP. My initial attempt was to set garagoyle as 'Wireless Bridge/Repeater'. I "think" I set it up right. AP and wireless bridge connected, devices connected to the wireless bridge. But devices had no internet access, and were not talking to either th...

Lease date
I think a good complement to 'lease expires' would be 'lease date' (e.g. 12:00:00AM). It would help troubleshoot things. It could be implemented either: -As a native tooltip effect with title tags in the 'lease expires' column. e.g. <td class="lease_table_column_4" title="12:00:00AM&q...

Re: Over throttled quota in v1.10
My connection is ADSL: ~3.5Mbps Down, ~.2Mbps Up I tether the connection to neighbors. DHCP by default assigns IPs in range 101-249, so I quota that range. Then I can cherry pick IPs out on that range by static assignament. Anyways, thanks you were right, I removed the upstream cap and the QoS (down...

Over throttled quota in v1.10
This is my procedure: 1) Firstboot, setup pass, wifi, adblock, ... 2) set QoS download: d-throttle 17% zero 380 3) set QoS upload: ....u-throttle 17% zero 10 4) Set Quotas: https://i.imgur.com/N1WV7Zf.png The issue is that navigation is very slow for throttled devices. It seems that the cuprit is th...

Cannot firstboot in Acher C7
Modem seems restarting after wifi settings were applied. Now trying to factory restart: Telnet 192.168.1.1 firstboot I've read that should prompt for a -y or -n, but it just generates a new line with the caret on it... Enter puts me back at: root@(none):/# then I: reboot -f Does reboot, But doesn't ...

Re: Setting up 2nd guest network.
Another issue is devices in the guest network cannot reach the GUI. Is it still 192.168.1.1 for guests?

Setting up 2nd guest network.
Hi buddies, I am here once again trying to setup my 2nd guest network. I'm aiming at 192.168.1.1/25. I've stepped up my sysadmin game, so this time i think i almost nailed it. The following configurations end up in my TP-Link Archer C7 v2: #DHCP config dhcp 'guest' option interface 'guest' option le...

Re: Not being able to setup 2nd "guest" network
I checked the 'firewall' file, I found 2 paragraphs that seemed of significance, so i just added them as "guest" code config zone option name 'guest' option network 'guest' option input 'ACCEPT' option forward 'ACCEPT' option output 'ACCEPT' config forwarding option src 'guest' option dest...
