Tried Quotas with Shaping (QoS active) but stumbled at the first hurdle.
I describe my problem with QoS here.
Any suggestions?

Re: L7 Protocol Enhancement
When I tried adding a new rule based on HTTP Video I get a message that says:
"There is an error in Application (Layer7) Protocol. Could not add classification rule."
Any suggestions as to what I could be doing wrong?

Re: Version 1.3.5: Wireless N
uncle john: ... I will admit these routers are a lot more finicky about upgrades than either broadcom or ar71xx routers (but they are cheap, and FonFlash will always bring them back). Thanks for your advice. FonFlash worked just great :) Seeing how long FonFlash took to complete the flash I suspect...

Re: Version 1.3.5: Wireless N
Thanks for the tremendous work Eric, namely:
1. Reset button support.
2. Config File backup support.
3. Quotas with shaping (QoS active)
I'll be putting in some serious time over the next couple of weeks.
Let you know how I go

Re: Gargoyle Routers For Sale
Any idea when we can expect to see the reset button supported?

Sorry. I did write WAN but I meant WLAN.

Re: Reset:Factory Defaults
I can see why you would be reluctant to introduce hardware specific code (ie. reset button support).
On the subject of security, I'd suggest that having the ability to disable system administration via the WAN would be a really good feature. (e.g. http://www.coova.org/node/245).

Re: Getting Around the Quota
I suggest that the inclusion of a configuration management facility of the sort described at http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... 3584#p3584
would greatly assist those interested in reselling and supporting pre-loaded (and pre-configured) routers.
