There was not a whole lot else to test - given that I could not get an Internet connection, or a wifi up and running (same page, same problem). I think some of the weirdness I saw in 1.7.1 was related to this, but I got around it by restoring a config backup from 1.7.0. (brick shy today)

PingWatchdog is available as a plugin since late 2013.

Gargoyle does not have a plugin for keyword restrictions to my knowlege.

You can however block specific URL's ie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJNR2EpS0jw

Also, Firewall - Quotas can block a specific site (ie youtube.com) at a particular time (ie 4pm-8pm) for particular users (ie kids).

Gargoyle cannot currently block sites by keyword. But under Firewall - Restrictions - Access Restrictions you can manually block specific domains or urls at quite a granular level. You can also use the options under Status - Web Monitor Preferences to discover sites that meet your criteria to be blo...

It does not look like you are running Gargoyle ...... but I am guesing that under your "Wireless" menu there will be an option like "Broadcast SSID" that you need to turn off.
