This isn't a new issue - see this thread.boldga wrote:it seems that the firmware doesn't support NAT loopback fully?
A workaround for using the DDNS name is to configure it as a local DNS name but exactly how that might be achieved in Gargoyle I don't know.

Re: 1.11.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2019-October-09 18
Not supported by official builds yet but the ipq806x architecture offers an alternative to mvebu (Linksys WRT series). The experimental 1.11.0 build has been run on the Netgear R7800, R7500v2 & D7800, Linksys EA8500 and TP-Link Archer C2600 that I'm aware of. I've also run Lantis' preliminary 1....

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
If it already has OpenWrt on it, you should be able to just install the sysupgrade image as though it was an OpenWrt image using the Luci firmware upgrade function. If you run into problems, you should be able to TFTP install the factory image (but read the OpenWrt C2600 hardware notes to be sure ho...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
The EA8500 had been in and running nicely on the 1.11.0 build for me for over a week, so I plucked up the courage to try a sysupgrade to Lantis' 1.13.x custom build. This has now been running for nearly 24 hours so early days but so far so good. The only slightly odd thing: the browser still had the...

Re: I need a new router: 4G/LTE with sim card, port aggregation and reliable.
As Lantis suggests I think you might be wise to adjust your thinking - it seems to me that you have too many competing objectives to shoehorn it all satisfactorily into a single device... For your local network, I'd be thinking about a managed switch with at least a couple of 10GB ports (e.g. for NA...

Bah! My apologies, indeed you did!Lantis wrote:I just had a look and i had the D7800 included already? Are you seeing otherwise?
I just kept reading it as "R7800" when looking at your custom build list.

Re: Openwrt 19.07 based Gargoyle
Generally Gargoyle does not support any modems, so i stuck with that paradigm. If there's big demand we can add it, but i'm personally charging the person who requests it responsible for answering every single "How do i make the modem work?" post :) I understand where you're coming from. ...

Re: Openwrt 19.07 based Gargoyle
In your ipq806x build I notice that you haven't included the image for the Netgear D7800 - any particular reason given that my 1.11.0 build for this device seems to work fine?
