Re: Version 1.5.4 & 1.4.7
It's a case of consistency. Clearly the version file stored on / is wrong. Don't know where that came from but it could throw someone off, could it not??? Perhaps someone should delete it from the package, or at least keep it in sync. The Version using SSH is R30752, Version 10.03.1 is R29592, so it...

Hi, me as well.yager86 wrote: I'm experiencing the same random wireless dropouts on 1043nd as the others. After a minute or two, I can reconnect.

Re: Version 1.5.4 & 1.4.7
With 1.4.7 I notice in /etc/ the file openwrt_version indicates the OpenWRT version used is 10.03.1-RC6. From looking at the OpenWRT web site I note that RC6 has been superceeded by 10.03.1.
Is this correct? 1.4.7 is still on the RC6 release?

Re: Unresponsive
Ok, so now in the middle of working, all the wireless went out, then about 3-4 minutes later it all came back. Noticed the WLAN Led was not flashing and then it returned?????
Is there any log file I can look at that may tell me what's going on?

Got up this morning and the router was doing strange things. Tried to login and it was incredibly slow, login page took many seconds to respond but some of the HTML that came back was obviously dropped. Couldn't connect wirelessly either. Did a power cycle and it came back ok. Never saw this behavio...

Re: Gargoyle Performance
I've been down this path before on other projects. Recompiling the OpenWRT code and the Gargoyle code with the right compiler setting can provide a boost of say 10% in general. Occationally more if there is some tight loop that really get's optimised well by the code generator. It really depends upo...

Re: Wireless dropouts
I did use InSSIDer to look at the wirless space and chose 2 because it's the least conjested area. Channel 6 is ugly. I think you're right about the Boom's problems (has lastest firmware) but it's been masked by the stock firmware for the 1043nd that scans for the best channel, as opposed to OpenWRT...

Re: Wireless dropouts
A bit more information, doesn't seem to be a dropout but could be a combination of issues. If I look at the router configuration I can see that the Boom is connected (according to connected host page). However, if I try and connect to the internet from the Boom it can't find the site mysqueezebox.co...

Wireless dropouts
Definitely something funny about the wireless. I have two Logitech SqueezeBox Booms connected to the internet via wireless 802.11g connection. On 1.4.6 they seemed to work fine, now on 1.4.7 I find after a few days they have dropped off the router and cannot connect unless I power them off and power...
