Re: Monitoring Port Usage

The Connection List page really needs a filter for Device.

Re: Little Hotelier Login

Could this possibly be caused by the Ad Blocking plugin?
That would be the most likely culprit.

Re: Best setup moving to an Unbridged connection

Sweet, thanks Lantis. The setup is working and I'm able to browse, Sagem F@ST 5355TLS connected via DHCP to the Netgear WNDR3700v4 (Gargoyle v1.9.2). I'm having some issues with obtaining the WAN MAC Address to put in the DMZ though, each time I reboot Gargoyle it changes on the Statistics page? Ass...

Best setup moving to an Unbridged connection

My setup is currently using Gargoyle on a separate IP range bridged to the modem with Gargoyle handling the chap auth via PPPoE etc. My area has just switched on a Fibre to the Node VDSL (aka NBN). All authentication is handled via IPoE which Gargoyle doesn't support. Since the modem handles the con...

Re: Bandwidth Distribution and connected hosts in multi WAN

I'm also curious on this one. I'd imagine it isn't exposed in bwmon_gargoyle but it should be accessible somehow. I've now learnt about the MWAN3 gpkg from this post but my original plan was to buy a Ubiquiti Edge Router Lite 3 and let that handle aggregating the 2 wan links into Gargoyle as a singl...

Re: Manual setup for OpenVPN

Despite the TLS standard stating that a client key isn't required Gargoyle won't unfortunately let you bypass it. Private Internet Access (PIA) does not generally have a client key. Download the PIA Certificate files (ca.rsa.2048.crt and crl.rsa.2048.pem) from https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/o...

Re: How to turn off bandwidth monitoring?

Hi Allan, Yes you can. Currently you can't do it via the GUI (it used to be in the Services Manager plugin) but you can do it via the command line. /etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle stop /etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle disable The Bandwidth monitoring will remain disabled until you reboot the router. For a more...

Re: Upload QoS ignoring Source IP Field?

Found the thread i was talking about, it turns out that class priority is defined by setting a minimum bandwidth, as pbix clarifies a few posts later: The priority comes from the minimum bandwidth setting. Games have a fixed and small bandwidth requirement and this is how it is specified. Discussio...

I believe you can do a range in QoS if you use CIDR Notation.

This URLshould help to do the conversion:
