Re: Isolate LAN-port to WAN only

No worries glad you got it sorted.
Be mindful that editing any settings in the UI *may* overwrite your changes you've just performed. Maybe vlans will make it into the ui one day who knows.

Re: Adding DHCP lease wipe all leases

If you wish to test, return to 1.6.2 and see if you experience the same issues.
I don't have any other suggestions sorry. My theory is image size.

Dewuer I expect your inference is correct in that you cannot save the settings due to a blank field which is checks for.

You can however manually edit the settings files on your router to get you up and running.

Re: Unable to connect to 2nd wireless AP joined to main rout

You want wireless roaming? Connect lan port of router 1 to WAN of router 2. Set connection type to DHCP wired. Set the router 2 IP address in the same subnet but outside your DHCP pool (or set it static in router 1). Disable DHCP and NAT on router 2. Enable wireless. Set SSID, channel and password t...

Re: Isolate LAN-port to WAN only

My guess would be no. A DMZ is essentially creating a VLAN, with the only rule being to accept all incoming traffic in my experience. This is to avoid port forwarding issues (and makes sense as that is where the dmz setting is found in the gargoyle ui). A dmz at a guess would prevent all the LAN att...

Re: Isolate LAN-port to WAN only

You'll want to setup a VLAN. This isn't supported through the GUI in gargoyle so you'll be running commands and editing config files. This is quite a thorough example that I'm sure you could apply to yourself m From my personal point of view: They'll be too busy killing zombies and eating Doritos to...

Re: Adding DHCP lease wipe all leases

Recently a lot of people are reporting spooky behaviour like this.
The one thing they all have in common?
4MB of flash.

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-March-27 05:44.torrent

its not everyone's cup of tea, but you should be looking at the code changes for these updates. tells you everything you need to know. was a simple error that caused the issue. haserl needed the upload limit and directory for the file. That's my understanding. I am early in the learning curve. Wher...

Bookmark this thread friend. If you make any changes that overwrite this config it will probably default back to before so you'll have to do it again.

Re: WR1043ND - how to connect to BTHub3?

Place BThub in bridge mode. Connect from BThub to WAN port of WR1043ND

Set xlmnection type to PPPoE in gargoyle. Enter details. Away it goes.

All of this information is covered in the documentation. If you get stuck come back with specific questions and a handful of screenshots. :)
