Re: QoS Call Of Duty

You'll either get it right or wrong. You'd be better playing the game and monitor the connectuon using Gargoyle. Then you'll know exactly what you need.
Whats the point of guessing?

Re: QoS Call Of Duty

It's likely that 3074 should be the destination port for upload, and the source port for download.

Typically applications like this open high ports locally, so if it is acting as usual this will be correct.

Re: Installing a USB wireless interface on Gargoyle router

Can you provide some information about the make and model of the wifi adapters? This might help determine if the drivers are already included or not. Additionally, once the wifi adapters are plugged in you may need to generate prompt the device to generate the wifi config. rm -f /etc/config/wireless...

Re: Gargoyle 1.12 - update from previous version

They're tracking the same type of data, but tied to a qos class rather than an IP, or measuring the total data in and out of the openvpn tunnel. If you don't want to preserve that data, no it's not important. There are smaller files in /tmp/data/bwmon which are stored in RAM only. These have smaller...

Re: how to see mac address in bandwidth distribution table??

Correct that each network applies it's own static leases (if it chooses to). Devices that are not governed by a static lease internally calculate (based on their MAC) the DHCP address they would prefer, and they ask the DHCP server for this. The server can accept, or refuse (already taken, outside d...

Ahh, I'm sure a less cowboy-ish coder than myself would have considered that keys could begin with any of those letter combinations and done a better job. ;)

Alas, I am what we are all stuck with. :)

Re: A trick to single ovpn in 1.12.0?

Ok i've found the error, and thank you for sending me the snippets of your key. I wouldn't have found it without that. You can modify line 41 in /www/utility/openvpn_download_credentials.sh from sed -i '/^ca\|^cert\|^key\|^tls-auth/d' /tmp/vpn.ac.tmp.ovpn to sed -i '/^ca\s\|^cert\s\|^key\s\|^tls-aut...

Re: No internet

Your static reservations should be outside the dynamic range to avoid trouble. The way the enforce DHCP setting works is it creates a pair of rules. 1. If a packet arrives from IP X and it's MAC is not Y, drop it. 2. If a packet arrives from MAC X and it's IP is not Y, drop it. When you first create...
