Re: 1.12.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2020-April-29 19

It looks like your router is running out of memory (logs don't go back far enough to confirm).
You can try to setup a swap partition to give you more memory, but ultimately your device is at the fringe of usability and is going to be harder to use moving forward.

Re: [Undefines] on Gargoyle Web Pages

You should pull this patch: https://github.com/ericpaulbishop/gargoyle/commit/da3735691b9f9562a12380dba37bc5cceff10a7f Or install "python-is-python2" package on Ubuntu 20.04. I suspect the internationalization script that runs at the very beginning of the build process has not deployed successfully....

Re: Wakeonlan package no longer available

That is solution #2.

Just using etherwake is what I would recommend and what is supported.
But, do what works for you.

Re: Wakeonlan package no longer available

I switched Gargoyle to etherwake because wakeonlan was having issues compiling at the time and I couldn't figure it out.
Etherwake is a good replacement, slightly different command line parameters.

If you just install the Gargoyle WOL plugin you should get what you need.

Re: Gargoyle IPv6 Testing

Ah, thanks i'll add the 201 case as well. I kept running into the 10 minute cooldown so never saw that code. How annoying!
Thank you very much for setting up multiple accounts, otherwise my computer would have been hurled through a window.

Re: Gargoyle IPv6 Testing

Thanks for setting up a test account. To fix the "update failed", you just need to change the "success_regexp" in /etc/ddns_providers.conf to "/200/". The success response has changed format. The remote IP lookup worked fine for me. That indicates more to me a DNS resolution issue on your/your ISP's...

Re: Gargoyle IPv6 Testing

So problem with zoneedit is they've gone to a paid model.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10947&p=45008&hilit=zoneedit#p45008

I haven't got a way to test it.
I will need to rely on community members (yourself?) To figure out what is wrong.

Re: Creating tickets

Honestly i'd just be doing the same thing to explain it to you. Best if you test it locally and understand the ins and outs of how it works. The only pointers I can give would be: - Quotas are stored in /etc/config/firewall - They are applied to the system by restore_quotas - restore_quotas is typic...
